The Bethmanns

Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in His ways. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessing and prosperity will be yours. Your wife will be like a fruitfull vine in your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. Thus is the man blessed who fears the Lord. Psalms 128:1-4

TENNESSEE SMOKEY'S GAME
On August 5, after the Bass Pro visit, Daddy's firm sponsored a trip to the Tennessee Smokey's baseball game. It was the first time the girls had been to a baseball game and the first time Mommy and Daddy had been to the new (relatively) stadium in Sevierville. It was loads of fun! First, we had a picnic with hotdogs, hamburgers, bar-b-que, cole slaw, chips and cookies. After eating, we were able to walk around the concourse and see all the attractions. The girls picked up some noise makers from U.S. Cellular which were later used in a massive family war.
No casualties- thank goodness!
After roaming around the stadium, we found our seats down the third base line. The location was kind of dangerous because the foul balls came speeding our way several times. If we had our gloves, we may have caught a ball or two. Chaise and Kailee made it through the 2nd inning and then let us know how much they were enjoying the game. We headed home shortly after. Maybe when we get a little older we can give it another shot.
If you want to know who won, we haven't a clue...
Smokey's were losing 2-1 when we left :(
